The official website will be keeping tabs on the Grimsby Town School of Excellence this season.

The School of Excellence has added Under 9's and Under 10's sides this season.

And youths coach Neil Woods is enthusiastic about the two new crops of youngsters.

"Hopefully we can make it bigger and better without losing any quality," he said.

"We had trials for the Under 9's and Under 10's last season and we were extremely impressed by the quality we got.

"The first under 12's we brought in years ago were Danny North's lot, the first Under 11's were Matthew Bird's lot, which we have now taken nine from.

"Let us hope that we can take on some of these 9's and 10's in the future," he added.
