Saturday Club
Saturday Club
Football in the Community currently runs two Saturday club. One running in Grimsby at the Grimsby Institute, and one in Louth held at King Edward VI Grammar School.
The clubs give young people the opportunity to be involved with active exercise through fun based football games. The clubs are great fun and there for anyone with an interest in football regardless of age, sex and ability. The most important factor is fun.
Each week GTFC prizes or match tickets are given to 'player of the day.' Also we have a special prize which gives players the opportunity to come play at Blundell Park in front of the whole crowd at half time during a selected Grimsby Town match. This prize only runs during the clubs calendar season. During a 6 week term, players are selected from each club. Players are selected through their efforts and good sportsmanship through the session. One player is picked every week until the team of seven is built up. The two teams then go and play for the FITC challenge cup.

You don't have to be a member you can come register on the day. The session consists of warm ups, fun based games and plenty of matches plus much more.
