Half-Time: Town 1 Hereford 1
The alarm bells were ringing for Town at the start of the second half as Fleetwood's ball went right across Town's six yard box with Bore putting it out for a corner at the far post.
But it was the Mariners who took the lead again on 59 minutes. Some great work by Thorpe who laid the ball off for Gary Jones, who finished smartly in the far corner.
On 70 minutes Barnes denied Purdie with a good save. And minutes later the Town keeper denied the impressive Fleetwood.
Connell had the ball in the back of the net on 86 minutes, but he clearly knocked the ball in with his hands.
The Bulls pushed for the equaliser and a dangerous corner was cleared by Fenton, and Connell saw his shot blocked by Gary Jones.
It was the Gary Jones of old today, and at the final whistle he was deservedly named the sponsors, LCS Group, man of the match.
