TOWN boss Alan Buckley was pleased with a point in difficult conditions at Wrexham today.

He said: "It was a very tough game in very difficult conditions, swirling wind

" The pitch wasn't conducive to good football.

"I don't think we started well. For around quarter of an hour we invited pressure.

"From there on in we started to pass around about a bit, looked a bit dangerous, kept the ball better.

"If you look at what Barnsey's had to do we've had a comfortable afternoon. The same can be said of their goalkeeper aswell.

" It's been a very, very hard-working, hard fought encounter. I suppose in terms of penalty box incidents it was a bit boring."

After last Saturday's mauling at the hands of Dagenham, the Town boss was pleased to see his side keeping a clean sheet.

"That was more like what we have come to expect," he said. "I thought the back three did very, very well to keep things away from Barnsey.

"It's like I said he's hardly had anything to do."

But Buckley admits that he know has a few injuries to contend with going into Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Final at Morecambe.

"Ciaran's took a very bad kick on the shin - he couldn't carry on. It was touch and go with Hunty who has gritted his teeth and carried on with a bruised thigh.

"Boshell's icing his thigh/ groin area in the dressing room.

"We'll just have to wait and see how everybody is on Monday morning."
