Seventeen-year-old American centre-back Dallas Moore is to sign for the Town's Youth side this summer after impressing while on trial.

He arrived at Town last October and immediately made an impression with Youth Coach Neil Woods.

Moore was recommended to Woods by a contact at Ipswich Town, who were impressed with the youngster during a short trial there last year.

When Moore first arrived on trial, he was allowed to play for the Youth team under the international trialist system.

Moore has now become ineligible for the Mariners after it was agreed to sign on the dotted line and is now restricted to appearances in friendly matches only.
