Whom do I play against?

You will play against (and with) other individuals all of the same skill level as yourself. Your aim is to become a better virtual footballer so you can play at ever higher levels (just like the real world!). Unlike existing footballing games, the fun difference in Football Superstars is that you are only ever in control of yourself, rather than a whole team. Quite simply, when you pass the ball to another team member you will ACTUALLY be passing the ball to another individual who is online with you at the same time (wherever they may be across Europe*).

You mentioned a whole virtual football world has been built... what else is in it other than the game?

Football Superstars is far more than just a game. There are bars, clubs, restaurants, shops, stadiums and a whole lot more. All this has been built within two HUGE virtual towns with the capacity to host millions of other football fans online at the same time. And the great thing is that the better you become at the game the better the experience awaiting you in the virtual world. Once you are playing at the very top you will have access to more sophisticated shops, bars etc. and be able to afford to buy the finer trappings of fame - Football Superstars has its own currency and you get paid for games you play... the higher the level of play... the higher the amount of pay!!

I've never played football games before... will that be a problem?

No. As there has been nothing like this before no-one is going to have any advantage. All you need is your PC or laptop (even if it's a few years old) and you're away. You control your whole world through your keyboard and mouse.
