DESPITE reports in a Devon newspaper, Grimsby Town Football Club have not confirmed that they will be taking part in a tournament at Appledore and Bidford in July.

Town officials visited Devon on Monday but the decision on whether the club will be involved has not yet been made.

A potential drawback could be the six hour journey down to the south coast.

The Town boss has already pencilled in pre-season games against Barnsley, Scunthorpe United and Gainsborough Trinity.
