Grimsby Town can confirm that there are no pre-season friendly games scheduled against Sheffield Wednesday.

The "fixture" was erroneously included in the Press Association list which is distributed to national newspapers and other sports media sources.

However, the Owls' are currently in the USA for their pre-season tour.

The Mariners' next game is against Lincoln City on Thursday night (7.30pm kick-off).
